Open Positions 

First UMC of Los Alamos, NM, is seeking a Director of Faith Development. Located 45 minutes northwest of Santa Fe, Los Alamos sits at 7300ft on the edge of national forests. Centered around the national lab, the town has the highest concentration of Ph.D.s in the country. We also have one of the highest rated school districts in the state. The primary responsibility of the Director is to provide leadership, structure, continuity and energy to our children, youth, young-adult, adult and family ministry programs as part of a well-developed discipleship path. This includes recruitment, training and retention of volunteers to run these programs. This person will also look for opportunities for reaching out in new ways to help people deepen their faith as followers of Christ. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, with a preference for an advanced theological degree. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.
